This was a competition entry for the RSA Design awards. I was a part of a two-man team working on the Heritage by Design brief. The challenge was to design a way for people and communities to better connect to and celebrate heritage.
Our concept was 'The heritage Hunt, which would be a live, interactive hunt to discover people's local culture and heritage through a social app that connects the local community.

The app allows users to engage with a live map of their city or town, with locations of special historical buildings. once users have arrived at the location, they can use the built-in augmented reality app to see a preview of what the building once looked like, giving them a live window in the past.
The city centre's would dislay a large version of the interactve map, with a feed of all the current teams working on tracking down all the special locations around their city.

The print adverts found throighout the city would help spread the word about the hunt, as well as include a QR code so people can quickly download the app themselves.
As the Heritage Hunt would run for 6 weeks, we would host a gallery of all user submitted photos via the app, and exhibit the most popular, as voted by the community, in local galleries all around the city.
